Primary or Caucus?

BOTH!  Well, if you are a registered Democrat, you should participate in both.  If you are unaffiliated, you can (and should) participate in the Primary.

We know that the primary season in Colorado can be a bit confusing, so IndivisibleNOCO has put together a guide to help you wade through the primaries, caucuses and elections.

Check your registration!

 Important Dates:

  • February 14  - last day to register to vote to participate in the March 3 primaries.  If you missed the deadline, register anyway so you can vote in November!!

  • March 7 - Party Caucuses
  • June 30 - Non-presidential primary (if you are 17, you can participate if you will be 18 by Nov. 3)

Find your Caucus Location:

 - You must be a registered Democrat to participate in the Democratic Party Caucuses -

  1. Look up your voter registration.  When your voter registration information comes up go to the tab that says "County and District Information."  Your Precinct Number is under "District Information."  Write it down!
  2. Go to Colorado Democrats (find your caucus location) website and enter your Precinct Number in the search bar.  Voila!  Your caucus location will appear!
